DFCExpress operates as a logistics aggregator that enables users to compare shipping options, book shipments, track deliveries and manage logistics through third-party courier and logistics partners.

By accessing, registering with or using DFCExpress, you agree to these Terms.

1Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use DFCExpress. You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity conducted through your account. DFCExpress may suspend or restrict accounts where fraudulent, illegal or unauthorised activity is suspected.

2Role of DFCExpress

DFCExpress provides a technology-enabled logistics aggregation platform. Physical pickup, transportation, handling, customs processing and delivery may be performed by independent courier, transportation or logistics partners. Availability, rates, delivery timelines and serviceability may depend on the selected courier partner, shipment characteristics, destination and operational conditions.

3Shipment Booking

When booking a shipment, you must provide complete and accurate pickup, delivery, sender, recipient, weight, dimensions, package description, declared value, invoice and regulatory information. If actual shipment details differ from declared information, additional charges may apply.

4Shipping Charges and Weight Discrepancies

Shipping charges may depend on actual or volumetric weight, dimensions, PIN codes, courier partner, transport mode, shipment value, taxes, COD charges, remote-area fees and other surcharges. Courier partners may independently verify shipment weight and dimensions. DFCExpress may adjust applicable charges where a discrepancy is identified.

5Prohibited and Restricted Shipments

You must not use DFCExpress to ship goods prohibited by applicable law or courier policy, including illegal goods, explosives, hazardous materials, weapons, narcotics, counterfeit or stolen products, and goods requiring licences where required permissions have not been obtained. Additional restrictions may apply to batteries, liquids, medicines, food products, valuables, fragile goods and international shipments.

6Packaging

You are responsible for appropriately packaging shipments for transportation. DFCExpress may not be liable for damage primarily caused by inadequate packaging, improper sealing, incorrect labelling, inherent defects or unsuitable packaging materials.

7Pickup and Delivery

Pickup and delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Actual delivery may be affected by courier network conditions, incorrect addresses, recipient availability, weather, traffic, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, customs clearance, security checks or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8Non-Delivery and NDR Management

If a shipment cannot be delivered, an NDR or similar exception may be generated. Users may be required to provide updated instructions. Reattempt, correction, rescheduling or return-to-origin charges may apply.

9Reverse Logistics

Where available, users may request return pickups through DFCExpress. Reverse services remain subject to courier serviceability, package readiness, correct information, applicable charges and courier partner terms.

10International Shipping

International shipments may require customs declarations, commercial invoices, KYC documentation, duties, taxes and compliance with import/export laws. The sender is responsible for accurate documentation and applicable legal compliance. DFCExpress is not responsible for customs delays caused by authorities or inaccurate documentation supplied by the user.

11Tracking Information

Tracking information may originate from courier and logistics partners. Updates may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or temporarily unavailable. A delay in a tracking update does not necessarily indicate that a shipment has stopped moving.

12Payments

You agree to pay all applicable charges associated with services booked through your account. Payments may be processed through third-party providers. DFCExpress may suspend certain services where amounts remain unpaid or a transaction is reversed, disputed or identified as potentially fraudulent.

13Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation eligibility depends on shipment status and courier partner. A booking may not be cancellable after pickup, manifesting or another stage of processing. Eligible refunds are subject to applicable DFCExpress and payment processing timelines. Charges already incurred may be non-refundable.

14Lost or Damaged Shipments

Lost or damaged shipment claims must be reported within the applicable claim period with requested supporting documents. Claims may be subject to investigation and courier partner liability rules. Compensation may be subject to declared value, insurance coverage, courier limits and applicable law.

15Shipment Insurance

Where shipment insurance or additional protection is offered, coverage is subject to specific terms, exclusions and claim requirements. Purchasing protection does not guarantee automatic approval of a claim.

16Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DFCExpress will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the platform or logistics services. Where liability is established, it may be limited according to the amount paid for the relevant service, declared shipment value, insurance coverage, courier partner liability limits and applicable law.

17User Responsibilities

You must not use DFCExpress for illegal purposes, provide false shipment information, misdeclare contents or value, manipulate weight or dimensions, ship prohibited goods, misuse promotions, interfere with platform security, attempt unauthorised access or use the platform to commit fraud.

18Intellectual Property

The DFCExpress website, brand, platform, software, designs, graphics and original content are owned by or licensed to DFCExpress and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit them without prior written permission.

19Third-Party Services

DFCExpress works with independent courier, payment, technology and logistics providers. Use of certain services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.

20Suspension and Termination

DFCExpress may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are violated, payments remain outstanding, fraudulent activity is suspected, prohibited goods are shipped, the platform is misused, or continued service would violate applicable law.

21Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify DFCExpress against claims, losses, penalties, liabilities or reasonable expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, illegal or prohibited shipments, incorrect declarations, violation of applicable law or infringement of third-party rights.

22Force Majeure

DFCExpress will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, war, civil unrest, strikes, government actions, transport disruptions, telecommunications failures or major infrastructure outages.

23Changes to Services and Terms

DFCExpress may modify its services, pricing structures, features or these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be published on the website with an updated effective date.

24Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of DFCExpress will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in West Bengal, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
